Hobo by: Heimsgard

Here is the outfit I promised you guys earlier. Enjoy!

Heimsgard the Hobo lives at an abandoned caravan in Bree-land.

He usually has a fire going, but tonight he forgot to collect wood for one.

So Heimsgard looks around and in the distance he sees an abandoned brigand camp nearby.

This is perfect!
Heimsgard settles himself in front of the roaring fire he made from the brigands leftover wood.

The Fashionable? by: Ellerysen

I wasn't going to post this outfit because I didn't really think it was blog worthy, but lately a handful of people on LOTRO have approached me and asked what it is I am wearing. So I thought maybe it is worthy afterall! When I first started purchasing Turbine points I was a huge cosmetic addict and spent a big chunk of them on the Ceremonial Ajokoira Armour and Leggings. They were the first real armor outfit that I enjoyed wearing. Most of the armor my hunter could wear at the time just didn't dye well and I didn't own any wardrobe slots to allow me to wear other things.

I chose these boots to go with the outfit because of the details on the sides. They kind of match the swirls on the thighs of the leggings. As well as the rust color on them really match the unknown color on the gold/yellow/rust? details haha This outfit looks great in the game!

Character Credentials: Race of Man - Female - Hunter

Chest: Ceremonial Ajokoira Armour, dyed Black (LOTRO Store or Lossoth of Forochel recipe)
Leggings: Ceremonial Ajokoira Leggings, dyed Black (LOTRO Store or Lossoth of Forochel recipe)
Hands: Fingerless Gloves, dyed Black (Yule Festival Reward -Help the Poor)
Feet: Sturdy Elven Leather Boots, dyed Rust (Tier 3 Craft)
Cloak: Noble's Cloak, dyed White (Tier 6 Craft)

Another Story Outfit

I enjoyed making the outfit story so much that I decided we should make another one! But this time we will be asking you guys to vote on what we should choose! Leave your creative or classic ideas in the comments. I will choose 4 of your ideas to be placed into a poll for you to vote on. The idea with the most votes will be our next story concept!

Can't think of any ideas? Here are some mediums with which you could choose! Video Games, Movies, Tv shows, etc.

Please note: We will need a bit of time between the closing of the poll and the actual production of the story so don't expect it for quite some time! In the meantime there will be normal outfits posted randomly.

I think this will be very interesting and fun to do! Hehe

The Hunter by: Ellerysen

I chose to create the outfit for the hunter in the story of Little Red Riding Hood. I had an idea of what type of look I wanted for it, but it took quite awhile to come up with a top for the outfit. In the end I decided with the Disused Robe of the Dunland Soothsayer, a favorite Dunland quest reward of mine. The rest of it sort of followed the leggings and chest piece. Enjoy!

The Wolf by: Bronwen

I still don't have a lot of good choices for cosmetic items but the only thing I am not happy about is the shirt. It was hard finding something that was a close match to the head and shoulder items. (If anyone knows of something better that isn't BOA or requires a maxed out character to get let me know please! )

Little Red Riding Hood by: Bronwen

So far the only outfit I submitted was a fishing outfit so I needed to think of something else so I wouldn't leave Ellerysen to do this blog by herself. Unfortunately it isn't that creative because they majority of the pieces belong to the same set. Oh well, it still looks cute on a hobbit!

The Story of Little Red Riding Hood by: Bronwen and Ellerysen

This next set of outfits we will post focus on the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
(Each outfit will have its own post with detailed screenshots and equips list)

Little Red Riding Hood
Story Interpretation by: Ellerysen

Once upon a time there was a little girl who lived in a small village near the forest. She was very well known because of the little red hood she always wore everywhere she went. After a while, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One day Little Red Riding Hood and her mother baked some delicious pies. They baked so many pies their house was bursting with bilberry. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for two hobbits, but they needed somewhere to sleep. Little Red Riding Hood decided to take some pies to her Grandmother. Red's mother warned her to be careful in the forest on her way to Grandma's house. So off she went!

~Meanwhile at Red's Grandmother's house~
A vicious and cunning wolf gobbled up Grandma and put on one of her dressing gowns. (*I think the floating cat was an accomplice but I have no proof.)

Unaware of what she would find at her Grandmother's house, Red continued on. When she finally reached her house, Red opened the door and went inside.

Little Red was frightened for her life and didn't know what would become of her! All of a sudden she heard rustling in the forest and out came a hunter! Red immediately recognized the hunter, it was Ellerysen! Thankfully, Red's mother had sent Ellerysen to keep an eye on her.

So Ellerysen the hunter grabbed the wolf and made her spit out the poor Grandmother. She was frazzled by the ordeal, but thankfully still in one piece.
(The image for this part of the story was too graphic so it was cut from the final production.)

The hunter was victorious and defeated the big bad wolf! Everyone was overjoyed and Little Red yelled, "Time for some delicious pie!" So they ate until they were stuffed (especially Red), and they all lived happily ever after! (Except for the wolf, *she is now a nice housing decoration for Grandmother courtesy of the Bree taxidermists!)

The End!

Forgive me for some of the screenshot quality. They were all taken on the same computer, but for some reason a few of them turned out better than others. Bronwen and I really had a fun time creating this little scenario of outfits for you guys so please send feedback on what you thought! Big thanks to all those who helped us put this together!

Tiny Assassin by: Ellerysen

*Disclaimer: Had a lot of fun with this one so this post will have a heavy amount of photos.*

My most recent outfit is inspired by the game series Assassin's Creed. Personally I have not played these games much, but they're some of my boyfriend's favorite games. I enjoy watching him play them. The outfits for Altair and Ezio are really cool. (look for pictures of them below) I tried this look on my elf and my woman, but they just didn't pull it off like my hobbit.

From what I have seen of these games the main character seems to enjoy climbing and rooftop diving. As well as sneaky murderous attacks on unsuspecting victims. In my images I tried to capture the essence of an assassin, but in the cute form of a tiny hobbit from the Shire. So forgive me if she isn't menacing enough.

I'm back!

Sorry for the recent absence blame the Spring Festival! I was enjoying it so much I forgot to find time to create any new outfits. While enjoying the festival I also decided to create my 1st minstrel! She is a hobbit of the Fallohides. For the longest time I have wanted to make a mini because I love the glowing hand detail whilst in War-speech stance. It will be interesting to start making some outfits for my new hobbit! So keep checking our twitter feeds or here on the website. I am sure there will be some new posts to come!

Seeing as the contest entry deadline is today (might even be over by now) I will share with you my entry for Fields of Flowers for this years Spring Festival Screenshot Contest.

Found my old Wash Day Dress in my vault, haven't made an outfit using it before. It made me think of a gypsy maiden. So... Here she is!

Stangard Saviour by: Ellerysen

I've been kindred with The Riders of Stangard for quite awhile now, but haven't tinkered with the new Rohirrim Tunic and Trousers. There are a few dyes that look very nice on this tunic, such as umber and sienna, but I went with olive. For the obvious reasons of course, its close to the colors worn by the Rohirrim, but also olive is just so pretty in the game. I was slightly disappointed in this tunic however. If you look closely in some of the pictures you can see my pant legs are clearly poking out of my boots! Seems to be the only tunic I've come across that does this. Maybe it will be fixed in future. Other than that little hiccup, the tunic is a very nice addition to my cosmetic collection. I was also disappointed in the mount.. the green they used is a bit faded, but its beautiful nonetheless.
